The Predators did not tell us what the scoreboard would look like. They let us find out one piece at a time as it was being constructed. After a rendering leaked, two thirds of the construction on the board was completed, and specs were revealed, we now know just about everything about the new video board in Bridgestone arena.

First lets take a look at our new rendering both when its turned on and off.

Now lets take a look at how this scoreboard compares with the old one. The new board has main screens measuring 33.6 feet wide, compared to the old board's main screens which were only 19 feet wide. Here is a comparison showing what it will look like during gameplay compared to the old board. The scoring overlay in this rendering is our own custom design since we have not seen what they are going to use yet.

We do not know how this board will rank among other NHL scoreboards as there are still a couple we are waiting to learn specs on. We can safely say this one will be somewhere in the 9-12 range. Stay tuned for more info on this board.
