Throwback Series: Edmonton Oilers

In this series, we will take a look at what some current NHL center ices would look like if they still used the 1980's-1990's design styles. First up, Edmonton Oilers.

The Oilers entered the NHL with a somewhat unique design where the Arena logo took center stage and the team logos found their home outside of the center circle. While the Oilers no longer play at the Northlands complex, their current arena's logo would come incredibly close to recreating that historic look.
