The Tigres only made one change to their ice this season. The red line design has changed from a large box pattern to a smaller slanted box pattern with the top half slanting upward and the bottom half slanting downward.
This layout uses a small area of property at center ice, so the giant boxes on the red line last season felt out of place. These smaller, slanted boxes fit better and are also somewhat unique. We often see this pattern in use but it is less common to have them angled in two different directions.
