The "i" in "capitals" looks like it's checking to see if the coast is clear. Not a fan of the huge logos at center ice. Go back to the way it was with one logo on each side of the red line.

Do you know of an ice rink we are missing? Use this area to send us a photo or video showing the ice surface. Please make sure the quality is good enough to make out what is painted on ice. We will do our best to get it added to the archive. Please be sure to include the team name, season the ice was used, and any additional information you have that might help us get the ice as accurate as possible. (Rink size, location of ref circle, type of goal crease, etc) Currently we are archiving the following leagues: NHL, AHL, ECHL, SPHL, OHL, QMJHL, WHL, NWHL, NCAA Division I Teams, and the Olympics. We are also looking to expand the archive to include more leagues in the future.

Fun fact about Edmonton's center ice.

According to SportsLogos.net, the Oilers changed their color scheme on their logo back in 2017. For some reason, the ice crew has yet to notice this detail though when it comes to the center ice logo. So here is what the center ice SHOULD look like if they used the current logo colors. Do you think they should update to match, or is this change too small of a detail to really notice?

From what I heard a few months back it sounded like Scotiabank was the frontrunner for the sponsorship. My guess is it'll be called Scotiabank Centre or Scotia Centre. This is ironic because their building downtown was called Scotia Centre for nearly 5 decades.
