The Pabellón de Hielo features two ice rinks: An Olympic-sized rink measuring 60 x 30 meters and a recreational rink measuring 50 x 20 meters. The facility has a fixed seating capacity of 1,900 spectators, which can be expanded to accommodate up to 3,579 spectators.

The building stands out due to its unique toroidal dome structure, composed of alternating opaque structures, glass, and steel. The dome design, reminiscent of the nearby Peña Oroel and Pyrenean peaks, rests directly on the ground, avoiding traditional facades. The membrane of the dome resembles a soft crystallization or a memory of ice.
