The arena was built in 1998 and has hosted various sports teams, including the Brampton Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League and the Brampton Beast of the ECHL. Currently, it is home to the Brampton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League and the Brampton Steelheads of the Ontario Hockey League.
