McMahon Stadium is a Canadian football stadium in Calgary, Alberta, situated on the University of Calgary campus near Crowchild Trail NW. Opened on August 15, 1960, it was constructed in just over 100 days thanks to donations from Frank and George McMahon. The stadium serves as the home of the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders and the University of Calgary Dinos, and also hosts high‑school football, amateur sports, and occasional concerts and major events.
