This architecturally striking venue was the world's first large-scale space-frame arena and served as the home for the NBA’s Hawks and the NHL’s Flames. After hosting the 1996 Olympic volleyball tournament and numerous iconic concerts, it was demolished in 1997 to make way for the modern State Farm Arena.
