Thompson Family Arena is a new state-of-the-art hockey facility in Spruce Grove, Alberta, set to open in early 2025. It will serve as the home of the Spruce Grove Saints and feature a 1,400-seat bowl-style arena, premium loge seating, standing room drink rail, two luxury suites, a center-hung jumbotron, and a first-class dressing room and training facility. The arena is part of Heavy Metal Place, a larger multi-use recreation and culture facility that includes another NHL-sized rink, a public library branch, an art gallery, a black box theatre, and a community walking track3.
