In September 2021, the BB&T naming rights ran out and were not renewed, leaving the team to look for a new partner. A new name was supposed to be in place in time for the 2022/23 season, but this did not happen. This ice was used from the start of the season through January 24, 2013.

Amerant Bank Arena is an indoor arena located next to Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Florida. It is the home venue for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League. It was completed in 1998, at a cost of US$185 million, almost entirely publicly financed, and features 70 suites and 2,623 club seats.
